Sipra Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 17, 2026
Summary: Sipra processes data you record or authorize to provide hydration management, goal recommendations, statistics, Apple Watch, Widgets, subscriptions, and sync features. Some features require Apple or third-party services. We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising tracking.
1. Information We Collect and Process
Hydration and health habit records
- Water intake, drink type, timestamps, daily goals, reminders, timer state, and statistics.
- Caffeine and alcohol records, including intake, timestamps, estimated metabolism progress, and related statistics.
User profile and preferences
- Weight, age, height, sex, activity level, custom goals, and other information used to calculate hydration goals.
- Avatar choices, theme, reminders, shortcuts, Widget preferences, Apple Watch preferences, and membership status.
Account and sign-in information
- When you use Sign in with Apple, we request your name and email address and receive an Apple-provided user identifier.
- Guest mode creates local session information and does not require a traditional password.
Apple Health and Apple Watch data
- With your authorization, the iOS app reads and writes water intake and reads steps and active energy for sync, goal calculation, and analysis.
- With your authorization, the Apple Watch app reads and writes water intake to keep Watch and iPhone records consistent.
- Apple Watch drinking gesture detection uses wrist motion information to determine whether a drinking action occurred.
Location, weather, and AI analysis
- When you enable weather-related goals or grant location permission, Sipra uses your location while you use the app to determine your current city and request local weather.
- Sipra uses Apple Weather / WeatherKit first. If WeatherKit is unavailable, Sipra may use Open-Meteo as a fallback weather service. To fetch weather, the app may provide necessary location coordinates or city information to the weather service.
- Weather information, such as temperature, humidity, and conditions, is used only to adjust hydration recommendations, display weather attribution, and support related analysis. It is not used for advertising, tracking, or sale.
- When you use AI reports, Sipra sends the health-habit context needed to generate the report to an AI analysis service, such as hydration, caffeine, alcohol, steps, active energy, goal completion, and weather-related information.
- Sipra does not intentionally send your Apple ID, email address, or payment information for AI reports.
Sync, avatars, and subscriptions
- If you use iCloud sync or backup, hydration records, profile, goals, preferences, and membership status may sync across your devices through Apple services.
- If you use avatar features, avatar generation services may process avatar style and parameters needed to generate or display avatars.
- Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. Sipra processes subscription status, expiration, and feature access state, but does not receive or store full payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide hydration logging, goal calculation, reminders, statistics, Widgets, and Apple Watch features.
- Generate more relevant hydration recommendations based on profile, activity, weather, and health metrics.
- Generate trend analysis, AI reports, caffeine estimates, and alcohol-related estimates.
- Process sign-in, subscriptions, purchase restoration, customer support, security, and service maintenance.
3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only as necessary to provide features, with your authorization, to comply with law, or to protect legitimate rights.
- Apple services: Used for sign-in, health data, subscriptions, iCloud sync, notifications, WeatherKit weather, and system capabilities.
- Open-Meteo: Used as a fallback weather service when WeatherKit is unavailable, to fetch weather by location and adjust hydration goals.
- AI analysis services: Used to generate AI reports and habit analysis.
- Avatar generation services: Used to generate or display avatars.
These services may have their own privacy policies and data processing rules. You should review relevant terms when using related features.
4. Storage, Security, and Retention
- Core data is stored on your device. When you enable sync, backup, or connected features, related data may be processed by Apple or necessary third-party services.
- We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
- We retain data as long as needed to provide the service. Deleting the app may not automatically delete Apple Health, iCloud, or subscription-related data; manage those in the relevant system settings.
5. Your Choices and Controls
- You can view, edit, or delete hydration, caffeine, alcohol, and profile data in the app.
- You can manage location, notifications, health, motion, iCloud, and other permissions in system settings.
- You can manage Sipra's health data access and written data in the Apple Health app.
- You can manage subscriptions and purchases through your Apple ID or App Store settings.
- You can contact support@sipra.vip for privacy-related requests.
6. Children's Privacy
Sipra is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
